It's Really Quite Logical!

I have always been interested in logical sorts of things, and even now work in an industry where left-brainedness with a little right-brain-interaction makes for an undaunting technical experience. The planning is what remains most important. Last semester I took a class in Discrete Structures, or in other words logic. One of the goals of the class seemed to be for us to learn how to translate written or spoken language into a logical statement, which in essence became a mathematical form of the natural language. See everything is based on math! Anyway, I was getting to a point here. Not too long ago, though it was long overdue, I watched the movie "A Beautiful Mind", which though it was mostly about the fictional part of a genius' life, was "logically" inspiring. Encryption is an area of Computer Science that I discovered at an early age. I wrote codes when I was in Elementary School, and at age 11 began to write computer programs that would encode and decode messages. The algorithms of course were nothing fancy - not hashes or mathematical rearrangements or anything, mostly just replacement of letters and words. A Beautiful Mind embraces many things, but the parts I found most facinating were when the images pointed to some kind of conpsiracy-theory cryptographic messages that were supposedly printed in articles in plain old magazines and newspapers. I wondered and still wonder if they were basing these images on anything in the real world of cryptography, or if it was just an artistic rendition of how a mathematician might look at something, were he searching for an ecrypted message in a plain text. Perhaps I'll never know, but logic still intreagues me. And did you ever stop to think how logical it is that this world and we were all created by a loving Heavenly Father? I have, and I know that it is true. :)
